2026 CAA Championship

Rico won the individual title with a three-round total of 202 (66-70-66), fourteen strokes under par, breaking the CAA Championship scoring record. He led the field all three rounds, tied for the tournament lead with 16 birdies, and played par or better on 52 of 54 holes. It made him the eighth Seahawk to win the CAA Individual Championship, and helped UNCW capture its ninth conference team title with a record 38-under 826, eighteen shots clear of the field.

2026 NCAA Bryan Regional

UNCW earned an automatic bid into the 81-team NCAA field on the strength of its CAA title, the program's first regional appearance since 2023. Rico closed with a three-under 69 in the final round, playing par or better on 46 holes, to lead the Seahawks with a share of 21st place individually.

Season Summary

Four top-10 finishes in 2026, including two top-three results after March 30. Named CAA Golfer of the Year, All-CAA First Team, and CAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
